Greets Kashmiri pandits who celebrate the day as beginning of the New Year.
Jammu, April 10: - Senior Congress Leader and
MLA Inderwal G M Saroori today greeted people on the eve of Navratra.
In his message of felicitation, Saroori
highlighted the State's rich tradition of celebrating the holy occasions and observed
that the Navratras have a special significance for the devotees, who visit the
Holy Caves in large numbers during this auspicious period and hoping that this
auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity,
sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
He also extended warm greetings to Kashmiri
pandits who celebrate the day of First Navratra as Navreh -- the beginning of
the New Year and onset of spring.
