Jammu, April 3:- Farooq Ahmed Panch from Panchayat Challar, Bhalessa,
District Doda along with his supporters joins Congress party in
presenceof Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori at his
residence here in Jammu.
Welcoming the new entrants in to party fold, Saroori said "Congress is the only party which is committed to address people's problems of all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir state. The programme and policies of the Congress party are attracting people towards the party. Saroori also said Farooq joining will definitelty strengthen the Congress party in Challar panchayat.
Saroori assured them to come up to their expectations and continue the developmental works and the welfare of the poor or down trodden people.
Speaking on the occasion, newly joined member panchayat said that he was impressed by working and the secular approach of Congress Party under dynamic leadership of Chairman UPA Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori.
Other who were present on the occasion were Chairman Panchayat Adalti Kishore Lal, Abdul Gani, Abdul Majeed Rahi and others.
