Saroori holds public grievances camp.




More than 150 people joined Congress and Youth Congress in Inderwal Costituency.
UPA government is coming up with food security bill to ensure ration to every citizen: Saroori

DODA, APRIL 21:- With an aim to listen the problems of the people at their door steps, Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori convened a public grievances camp at village Kandoth, Indralla, Heneja, Shorout, Chariya and Bhotana in tehsil Thatri of district Doda today. The representatives put forth various demands included, Construction of road from HSS Kandoth to Indralla and Kandoth to Parnoth, upgradation of government schools, Ration depot at Kandoth and Opening of JK bank branch.

While addressing the people, Saroori said that State as well central government is committed for the progress and development of the rural areas for which several programme and schemes like MGNREGA, NRHM, IAY and RMSA etc have been launched. He appealed the people to come forward to avail maximum benefits of these schemes. He asked the Sarpanches and Panches to identify the problems of the peoples of their areas and work for their redressal.

Saroori added that UPA government at the centre is coming up with food security bill to ensure ration to every citizen. He said that government is committed to raise the socioeconomic status of the rural people as well as to provide all the basic amenities along with developmental infrastructure.

He asked the officers of agriculture department to provide poly houses and hybrid seeds to the farmer in time so that they would enhance their crop productivity by adopting latest techniques of farming. He directed the officers of Rural Development Department to construct toilet facilities under the centrally sponsored scheme Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan and encourage the people for their use and clear all pending NREGA payment.

Saroori directed PMGSY department to furnish DPR of HSS Kandoth to Indralla upto Shrout also directed Roads and building department to conduct survey of Kandoth parnoth road as better road connectivity is vital for socio-economic transformation of the people of any area. He hoped that the facility of bridge in this area would go a long way in the improvement of environment for emergency care besides upgrading public transport convenience.

On this occasion 150 people joins Congress party and Youth Congress in presence of Mr. Saroori including Girdari Lal, Ali Mohd bhat, Charan Dass Bhagat, Bal krishan, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Surinder Kumar, Minkal Singh, Anchal Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Nita Kumar, Susheel Kumar, Pardeep Singh, Ram Singh, Suraj Kumar, Subash Singh, Santosh Singh, Vijay Ver, Paramjjet, Devan Lal and others

Mr Saroori welcomed all the people who had joined Congress party and Youth Congress and said that the joining has strengthened the party and that they will jointly work for the development of the area.

Many deputations also met Saroori and appraised him about the problem being faced by the general public of area in particular. Saroori gave patient hearing to the demands of the people and instructed concerned officers to address the genuine demands of the people on priority basis. He said government is keen to strengthen the panchayats so that benefit of development will reach to every part of the State.
