Congress leaders grieved over death of Hajjis in Makkah Mukarmah



 
Jammu, September 13:  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries in a tragic crane crash that took place in Haram Sharif, Makkah Mukaramah.

The incident happen when the crane fell following a heavy windstorm in the Grand Masjid in the holy city.


In a joint statement issued by Vice Presidents Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, G. M. Saroori, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Mohd Amin Bhat (MLA), Gulzar Ahmed Wani (MLA), Usman Maeed (MLA), Naresh Gupta (MLC), Sham Lal Bhagat (MLC), Mohd Sharief Niaz Executive Member, Abdul Majid Wani General Secretary, Congress spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, Publicity Secretary Salman Nizami and all rank and file of the Party Congressmen extended condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families as well as the Government of Saudi Arabia.


Congress leaders also prayed eternal peace of the departed soul and courage for the grieved families to bear the loss with equanimity. They also prayed for speedy recovery of all those Hajjis who were injured in the incident.
