Saroori condole the demise of Janak Raj & Mother of Tariq Hussain Butt and Jaffer Hussain Butt

Jammu, September 16: - Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori has deeply mourned the sad demise of veteran Congress leader and former Member of Parliament (MP) Shri. Janak Raj Gupta (79).


Saroori deeply mourned the sad demise of veteran Congress leader Janak Raj Gupta. He said “in Janak Raj Gupta’s demise J&K has lost a seasoned politician. The void his demise has created in the political scene of the State is hard to fill.


"He was full of political wisdom and in his death we have lost a great visionary leader who tirelessly struggled for raising the issues of the weaker sections of the society," Congress leader said.


Referring to his close association with the deceased leader, they recalled his immense contribution as a Member of the Parliament, Member of Legislative Assembly, Member of Legislative Council and as a Political Advisor to former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said the deceased will be always remembered for his political acumen, organizational skills and services he rendered for the needy, during the decades long political career.


Saroori conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the everlasting peace of the deceased soul. He has also attended the cremation of veteran Congress leader and Parliamentarian, Janak Raj Gupta, who passed away day before yesterday. Saroori and other Congress leaders reached Jogi Gate Cremation Ground, where the last rites of the deceased leader were performed.


Saroori has also has expressed shock and sorrow over the sad demise of Mother of Tariq Hussain Butt and Jaffer Hussain Butt resident of Trankhal. Saroori expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and conveyed his sympathy. He prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed souls beside a place for her in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.
