Congress leaders paid tributes to Abdul Subhan Kichloo and Ghulam Qadir Tappal




Held public meeting at Chariya Thathri; met with newly nominated members of district ST cell Kishtwar

Kishtwar, May 04: - Vice President JKPCC and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today paid tributes to two veteran Congress leaders from Kishtwar Late Abdul Subhan Kichloo and late Ghulam Qadir Tappal at MLA Inderwal’s residence of Kishtwar.

On the occasion, senior Congress leaders remembered Abdul Subhan Kichloo and Ghulam Qadir Tappal as a true mass leaders and stalwarts who always worked for strengthening the party. They also paid floral tributes to the late veteran Congress leaders.

The speakers including Haji Ghulam Mohd Kohli, Haji Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Bidya Lal Sharma, Chowdhary Issaq, Ghulam Mohd Sheikh, Som Nath, Noor Hussain Ahanger, Mohd Sultan, Firdous Mingnoo, Mohd Iqbal Keen, Ghulam Hussain Shah, Hens Raj, Abdul Majeed Bichoo, Mohd Aslam Saroori, Abdul Wahid, Altaf Hussain Malik, Mohinder Singh Parihar, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Waseem Saroori, Satish Kumar, Ravi Kumar Shan, Surjeet Singh Badyal, Bashir Ahmed, Ali Mohd Mir, Ali Mohd Naik, Haji Noor Din, Ghulam Nabi, Ghulam Nabi, Abdul Rashid, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Captain Jagdish Raj, family members including Ghulam Haider Kichloo, Tazeem Ahmed Kichloo, Bashir Ahmed Mingnoo, Zakir Hussain Tappal, Tahir Hussain Tappal, party leaders and workers narrated their share of experience with Abdul Subhan Kichloo and Ghulam Qadir Tappal.

In his keynote address, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori threw light on the life of Abdul Subhan Kichloo and Ghulam Qadir Tappal and appraised the gathering with the efforts of the Kichloo and Tappal, which they made to make Congress successful on all fronts in Kishtwar

In the end, vote of thanks was given by Ghulam Mohd Saroori.

Earlier Saroori has stressed that his priority as MLA was to work for solution of public problems and he was committed to deliver the goods. He made this assurance while addressing a public rally in village at Chariya area of sub-division Thathri.

People on the occasion demanded up gradation of middle school chariya to high school, installation of hand pump at Chariya, construction of road from Kandoth to Inderala and handing over of RDD roads to R&B including Kandoth to Inderala, Pernote to Shout

Saroori also inspected the road which has been constructed under conversion plan of about 8 lakhs from Kandoth to Pernote and said other developmental works would start very soon. He reiterated that serving people was his mission of life and he would leave no stone unturned for the same. He also assured the public of Chariya that their genuine demands would be addressed on top priority.

Later Vice President J&K Congress ST cell Ghulam Mohammad Kohli also met with Vice President JKPCC and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori today evening and discussed latest political and organizational affairs of the area. Vice president JKPCC ST cell along with the team of newly appointed office bearers and held meeting with Mr. Saroori and briefed about the organizational affairs and activities of the party in the district Kishtwar, Doda after he (Kohli) took over as PCC St cell Vice President.

The delegation comprises of Chowdhary Qassam Chairman St cell Kishtwar, Ch. Noor Din and Haji Noor Mohd vice Chairmans, Ghulam Mohd Masoodi General secretary, Ch. Noor Din Joint Secretary, Ch. Issaq, Ch. Jeelani, Ch. Kaloo, Abdul Wahid, Ch. Bashir Ahmed, Ch. Ismaiel, Ch. Abdullah, Ch. Mohd Abdullah, Ghulam Hussain, Shokat Ali, are secretaries of Congress district cell Kishtwar.
