Mugalmaidan, May 02: - During the hectic tour of his constituency, Member of legislative Assembly from Inderwal, G. M Saroori inaugurated Kuchal-Simbole phase 2nd link road in rural areas of Mugalmaidan Tehsil here.
The works completed and inaugurated by the MLA Inderwal have been executed by the PMGSY Division Chatroo, costing around Rs. 400 lakhs, with total length of 7kms. This will provide transport facilities to 3000 souls of the Kuchal village of sub-division Chatroo.
Addressing the public meetings at Kuchal, Sheikhpura, Basha, Thal Kwath and Simbole, Saroori said that road link to Kuchal is benefitting the people of this area, adding these people were confronting multiple hardships due to inadequate road communication but at present after completion of this prestigious project people won’t face any hardship.
Saroori said that only Congress Government is committed to provide all basic amenities like health care, road connectivity to far flung areas, upgradition of schools, recruitment of staffs to various government schools and other basic necessities. He urged to remain united and foist the evil designs of the forces inimical to the peace and progress of the area as a whole and cooperate with the developmental agencies like PMGSY, JKPCC, R&B, in its endeavour to usher the area into peace and prosperity under the Congress dispensation in Inderwal.
The main demands raised by the locals included clearance of slips from link roads, repairment of lanes, drains, replacing of damaged electric poles, installation of 65 kv transformer, distribution of adequate ration, installation of hand pumps, payment to job card holders under MGNREGA and others.
Many issues were solved by the MLA Inderwal on the spot by directing the concerned authorities to redress the problem immediately. Saroori also said that he is fully aware of the problems faced by the people living in far-flung areas and will do everything for providing all basic needs of the people on top priority.
At Gurinal, MLA Inderwal said that he is committed for socio-economic empowerment of the people especially those living in hilly, remote and far-flung areas and highlighted the benefits of various development and welfare schemes launches in the area. Also Mr. Saroori visited the residence of party leader Chowdhary Abdul Gani and expressed his condolences on the sad demise of his father. MLA Inderwal said that no words were enough to console the bereaved family as the loss was enormous and irreparable. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Earlier at Kuchal annual function day and Dastarbandi of Madrasa Taleem Alquran Kuchal was celebrated today at Kuchal in Sub-Division Chatroo. Eminent Muslim scholars, Management of the Madrasa, thousands of people and other dignitaries were also present in the function.
On the occasion Saroori gave a word of advice to students and parents. He said the Taleem Alquran Kuchal is a Madrasa where thousands of students get Deeni education and praises the efforts of Madrasa for imparting education to thousands of students and hoped that the madrasa will continue to do so for the future time as well. On the occasion, students who have completed the Hifiz of Quran Shareef were appreciated and Dastarbandi was done to them by the guests and Imam Jamia. Madrasa children have also presented various Deeni program on the occasion.
