Demanded ex-gratia relief in favour of next kin of the deceased
Kishtwar, May 27: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of life in the unfortunate accident in which a teenage boy Mohd Imran (15), son of Abdul Karim Ganai of village Phagsoo was killed after a vehicle he was travelling in rolled down into gorge near Grid Station on Thathri - Phagsoo road in Thathri area of District Doda on Thursday.
In a message, MLA Inderwal G M Saroori expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul beside a place for him in a heaven.
Mr Saroori also reiterated his concern about the pressing need for the Police and Transport departments, as well as the other concerned agencies, to take the all required measures, on immediate basis, to reduce the incidence of fatal road accidents in the Erstwhile district Doda.
He assured all possible assistance to the kin of the deceased and urged both the State. He has also appealed to Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to immediately release the ex-gratia relief in favour of next kin of the deceased.
It is to mention here that the vehicle was on its way to Phagsoo from Thathri when the driver lost control while driving on a steep slope. The injured –identified as Mohd Amin, 50, son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Jangalwar, Abid Hussain, son of Ali Mohd Sheikh, resident of Nandna and Touseef Ahmed, son of Noor Din Sheikh, resident of Bandoga - have been airlifted to Govt Medical College Jammu.
