KISHTWAR: - The Congress party and Youth Congress activists celebrated
the massive victory of grand alliance in Bihar general assembly election
at Kishtwar.
The Congress workers and Youth Congress activists celebrated the victory of grand alliance in Bihar general elections, termed the massive victory in Bihar general elections as the victory of secularism over communalism.
As soon as the news of landslide victory in Bihar polls reached the workers of congress party and youth congress activists, in which the Grand alliance comprising of JD (U), RJD and INC clean sweeped near about 2/3rd of seats assembled in large numbers at the general bus stand Kishtwar as well as at INTUC office Semna Kishtwar and celebrated the victory by bursting crackers, raising slogans and dancing on the drum beats.
"People of Bihar have shown that the politics of polarization has come to an end and all such communal forces which are hell bent to divide the nation on the name of religion has come to an end and has termed the massive victory of grand alliance as the victory of secularism, brotherhood. ", said a Congress leader Mahinder Singh Parihar.
President IYC Inderwal Abdul Majeed Rahi, Yug Raj, Mehraj Anjum said that it’s BJP arrogance which led to their humiliating defeat. Communal forces have no space in a diverse country like India where Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christians, Jain live together as a single whole.
Youth Congress activists including Waseem Maker, Advocate Suman Thakur, Firdous Mingnoo, Randeep Bhandari, Farooq Bagwan, Jaffer Hussain said that the massive win for JD (U)-RJD-Congress Mahagathbandhan despite a high profile campaigning by the PM Modi, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of state etc of ruling NDA. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections NDA had sweeped 31 out of 40 seats, in a brief time period of 19 months grand alliance handover humiliating defeat to NDA.
