Jammu, Nov 06: The Congress party has condoled the death of prominent journalist and the founder editor and chairman Kashmir Times group of publications, Ved Bhasin.
In a joint statement issued by President JKPCC Ghulam Ahmed Mir, G. M Saroori, Raman Bhalla, Taj Mouhi Ud Din, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Abdul Rashid Dar, Ajaz Ahmed Khan, Mohd Amin Bhat, Usman Majeed, Gulzar Ahmed Wani, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Chowdhary Akram, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Jahangir Hussain, Salman Nizami, Amir Rasool and others.
In their condolence message, Congress leaders described Ved Bhasin as one of the finest journalists of his times who carved a niche for himself in deft political analysis and bold writing. “His experience in the field of print journalism and extremely insightful articles will be deeply missed,” they added.
The Senior PCC leaders expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and conveyed his sympathies to them in their hour of grief.
