Kishtwar, November 06: - PCC Vice President and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori condoled the sad demise of Mumtaz Begum Wife of Haji Ghulam Rasool Gagroo who passed away today after brief illness. She was laid to rest at Kishtwar today (Friday) at 2:30PM. Vice President JKPCC, G. M. Saroori, several other Congress leaders, besides hundreds of people from all walks of life from Kishtwar, Padder, Sarthal, and other parts of the state attended Namaz-e-Zanaza of the departed soul.
In a condolence message; Saroori remembered the departed soul as a noble lady who lived a pious life. He expressed his solidarity and has conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed soul beside place in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.
Saroori also visited the residence of Haji Ghulam Rasool Gagroo to personally condole the demise of his wife Mumtaz Begum. He stayed with the bereaved family and expressed his sympathy and solidarity with them, offered fatiyah, consoled the family members and prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile Saroori has expressed grief and shock over the tragic accident in which three persons were died when a tipper they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Kishtwar district.
The tipper bearing registration number JK17- 2730, which was on its way to Paddar from Kishtwar, skidded off the road and fell into the river Chenab tributary at Naigad Nallah in Padyarna area some 35 KM from Kishtwar this afternoon. The deceased were identified as Abdul Gani son of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Ashraf son of Ali Mohammad and Shamas Din (driver) son of Ghulam Rasool all resident of Padyarna.
Conveying his condolences Saroori expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
