Victory of secular forces against divisive agenda in Bihar: Saroori

Thathri, November 08: - Congress party today holds a victory rally at Thathri area of district Doda. The rally started at Thathri pull and commence at main bazaar Thathri. The rally was led by PCC vice president and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori.

While addressing the gathering Saroori said that the success of grand alliance in Bihar is a victory of secular forces over the "divisive agenda" of BJP. "It is the victory of secular forces over Modi-ism. The BJP party should work for the people instead of following a divisive agenda in the country,"

The most important point in this election is that this is a personal defeat for Modi. Because, never in independent India's history, have we seen a sitting Prime Minister getting so involved and addressing more than 50 public meetings in by poll election," Saroori said.

The outcome of Bihar election shows that the people have realised the false promises like getting back black money, 15 lakhs to every citizen, ache din in the country, made by BJP and its communal agenda, Saroori claimed. "Modi-ji talks about democracy but does not talk about our farmers and labourers, who run this democracy. He forgets them," Saroori told Congress workers.

In a similar way, Cong would defeat the "dictatorial tendencies" of the ruling PDP-BJP in Municipality and Panchayat elections expected to be held next year in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori said.
