Saroori delivers speech on the occasion of 110th annual function day of IFERI



 
Kishtwar, November 11: - Chairman Sub-Committee J&K Auqaf, G. M Saroori delivered his speech on the eve of 110th annual day function of Islamia Fareedia Educational and Research Institute Kishtwar.

While addressing the large gathering Saroori, paid rich tribute to all those people who laid the foundation of Islamia Faridiya School in the year 1905, which is now transformed into a major institute gaining success day by day.

Saroori said that it was due to the efforts of those noble souls that the people of Kishtwar get the benefits of education that not only enlightens the people of Kishtwar, but entire country as the students from different parts of the country are getting education from Islamia Faridiya College of Education.

He lauded the role of this institution in promoting secularism among the budding lot of the society and asked the Government to provide financial assistance to this institution which are playing active role in strengthening the bonds among different communities.

Underlining the importance of peace, Saroori said that peace was imperative for the development. He said that some mischievous elements are trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu and Kahmir by indulging in communal acts. Saroori was referring to the episode of Bakshi Nagar Jammu where some miscreants attempted to Ziyarat into temple and said that any attempt to destabilize peace and communal harmony would be a big jolt to the progress of Jammu and Kashmir on all the fronts.

Saroori lauded the contribution of Islamia Fareedia Educational and Research Institute and expressed his happiness over imparting religious education in the institution apart from educational studies and extracurricular activities.

Describing the religious education as basic education to ensure the all round development of the person besides making him civilized, Saroori stressed upon hard work by children and said that the competition was getting intensified for getting admission in professional courses, where the cutoff would go to 100%, and the candidates who achieved 90, 95% could not get admission there. 

He said that peace was necessary for all developmental works, and the some vested interest did not want to see the peaceful environs and were always in search to spread communal tension and harm the brotherhood peace of the area, he cautioned the people of Kishtwar to be aware of nefarious designs of communal forces.

Earlier Saroori also paid obeisance at the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Mohammad Asrar-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA). On this occasion he prayed for the peace, tranquility and development of the state.
