Several NC leaders join Congress in Inderwal



 
KISHTWAR, JULY 31: - Many National Conference leaders from Kahara, Thathri areas of Inderwal constituency, joined the Congress in the presence of State Vice President Ghulam Mohammad Saroori here on Wednesday.

Congress state Vice President said that the public-centric approach and the good governance in Inderwal since past 18 years by Congress, acted as a catalyst in top NC leaders joining the party. 

Led by Liyakat Ali Khan, Mohd Iqbal Teli, Bitta Hajam joined the party in presence of Congress State Vice President and other leaders.

While welcoming them into the party fold, Mr. Saroori termed the moment as historic and said that active workers from several other political and social groups were joining the Congress increasingly in Inderwal, owing to the party’s selfless policies. He also added that the people joining the party have played an important role in the positive developments in the society and for the Inderwal.

Mr. Saroori also said that these activists will further aid in the strengthening of the party in the area. He expressed confidence in the fact that the new entrants will work tirelessly for the extension of the party activities in the region. He also claimed that the Congress will be part of next government in Jammu and Kashmir.
