Hold condolence
meeting at Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, MAY 18: - An
emergent condolence meeting was held here at Kishtwar to pay tribute to Ghulam
Qadir Chopan a social activist from Marwah area of Kishtwar district who passed
away in GMC Jammu after a brief illness.
The meeting was
presided over by Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice
President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori.
In a condolence
meeting, Mr. Saroori described Mr. Chopan as visionary man, who has always
worked for the betterment of people of this backward area.
The meeting expressed
deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Qadir Chopan. They have also
expressed its sympathies with the bereaved family members. They prayed to
almighty to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss and also prayed for
the departed soul beside a place for him in heaven.
Those who were present
in the meeting including Raj Kumar Badyal, Ghulam Mohd, Tariq Hussain Mintoo,
Sanjeet Kotwal (Rinku), Ali Mohd, Shakti Kumar, Bansi Lal, Akshay Goswami, Mohd
Hussain and others.
Mr. Saroori also
deeply condoled the sad demises of Abdul Gafoor Resident of Kencha Kahara,
Zaneefa Begum wife of Late Satyam Din Butt Resident of Trankhle. May Allah
shower his choicest blessings on the souls in heaven”, said Mr. Saroori.
