Kishtwar, July 14: Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kichloo flagged off first batch of 21 Haj pilgrims of Kishtwar district.
Chairman Auqaf Kishtwar, Mushtaq Ahmed Qazi, Former Ministers, G. M Saroori, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Former MLC, Firdous Ahmed Tak, team of civil and police officers, besides a large number of people were present to see off the pilgrims.
Interacting with the pilgrims, Imam Jamia Masjid along with other people congratulated for getting the opportunity to perform holy Haj. They also wished them safe and secure pilgrimage and appealed them to pray for peace and prosperity of the State.
The group of pilgrims including 21 people left from Kishtwar to New Delhi International Airport from where they will take international flight to Saudi Arabia.
