1.19 lakhs be provided
to each victims
Sarthal, July 10: -
Former Minister J&K, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori have expressed grief and
sorrow over the death of two persons when their mud house collapsed in Gorrow
area of Patnazi panchayat of Kishtwar District due to heavy rainfall in the
area.
The deceased’s were
identified as Prithvi Raj (40) and his mother Ganya Devi (75).
Mr. Saroori expressing
grief over the loss of precious lives, conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to the
families of those killed in the mud house.
He has urged the
district administration to intensify rehabilitation operations, release of 1.19
lakhs each to the victims under SDRF at an earliest, make arrangements for
shelter, food and other facilities for the people affected by the heavy
rainfall.
Mr. Saroori also
visited Sarthal area to expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Maryama
Begum wife of Mohammad Ashraf Khan and Taja Begum wife of Late Ghulam Qadir
Zargar both resident of Moharwari Sarthal who passed away recently.
He remembered the
departed souls as noble ladies who lived a pious life.
The Former Minister
expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and conveyed his sympathy. He
prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed souls beside a
place for them in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to
the family members of the deceased’s to bear irreparable loss.
