Jammu, February 24: - Congress Senior Leader, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori
(MLA) has expressed shock and sorrow over the sad demise of National
Conference Veteran Leader, Sheikh Nazir who passed away Tuesday in
government medical college hospital Jammu. He was 84.
Sheikh Nazir was the nephew of NC founder, late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
In his condolence message, Saroori described the Sheikh Nazir death a loss for the State in general and Valley in particular. He maintained that Sheikh Nazir was a respected gentleman and his contribution for the betterment and welfare of the down trodden people will be remembered.
The Congress leader conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed soul beside a place for him in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.
It's to mention here that Sheikh Nazir had been admitted to GMC hospital Jammu Sunday. He was put on life support system following deterioration of his health condition.
