Saroori condole death of Mufti Shahnawaz Zarger, a noted Islamic scholar

Express grief over the demises of Mohd Anwer Lone, Abdul Razzak Chappoo, Bashir Ahmed Sheikh

Jammu, 27 January: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of noted Islamic scholar, spiritual personality from Kishtwar, Mufti Shahnawaz Zarger.

In a condolence message, Saroori has termed Mufti.Shahnawaz demise a great loss that has created a void, difficult to fill. "Mufti Shahnawaz is a severe blow to Millat- e-Islam.

In Mufti Shahnawaz was rolled up several unique qualities; perspicacity of history, literary merit par excellence, humane at heart, intellectual vision coupled with humility and modesty and above all keen desire to spread 'message of humanity' in the light of Quraanic verses and traditions of the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.V.)," Saroori has observed in his condolence message.

Saroori recalled Mufti Shahnawaz contribution to Islamic preaching. "The loss, one can imagine, is more keenly felt by the kith and kin of Mufti Shahnawaz. I take this opportunity to convey my sincere condolences to them and pray to Allah for Mufti Shahnawaz soul to achieve elevation and highest position in Jannat-e-Firdaus," said Saroori in its condolence message.

He has also expressed profound sorrow and deep grief over the demises of Mohd Anwer Lone resident of Ladsa Sarthal, Abdul Razzak Chappoo resident of Mugalmaidan and Bashir Ahmed Sheikh resident of Mian Chatroo.

Saroori ask the Roads and Building (R&B) department to pay compensation to a 35 year old labourer of R&B Department died after a shooting stone hit him while working on Dadpath-Kuchhan road. The deceased name is Bashir Ahmed Sheikh son of Lassa Sheikh Resident of Mian Chatroo.

He (Saroori) said that deceased while working at the construction site was hit by the shooting stone roll down from a nearby hilltop as a result of which the deceased got seriously injured. The laborer breathed his last at District Hospital Kishtwar. The deceased is the father of four minor children.

In a condolence message to the families, Saroori expressed his solidarity and has conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed souls. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.

Later Saroori also visited Government Medical College Hospital (GMC), Jammu and enquired about the health of many patients belonging to Erstwhile Doda district. He asked the doctors about the status of patients and directed them to extend best Medicare to them for their early recovery.
