Visited Mugalmaidan, Sarthal areas of Inderwal constituency
Mugalmaidan/Sarthal, May 28: - Medical camp was held at Mugalmaidan in district Kishtwar which was sponsored by Leader of Opposition (LOP) in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The camp was inaugurated by Vice President J&K PCC G. M. Saroori-(MLA Inderwal).
While addressing the gathering, Saroori hailed the efforts of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for setting up the medical camps in district Kishtwar and also appreciated his efforts of taking care of the health related problem of people in far flung areas. He emphasized on the importance of health and assured the local population that Congress party will reach out to inhospitable terrain coupled with worsening climatic conditions as and when they need their help.
He exhorted all patients to utilise the facility of medical camps organised by him (Saroori) to identify their problems at an early stage. He underscored the need for organising more such camps in remote and hilly area for ensuring maximum benefits to the people by this type of health care facilities.
During the free medical camp at Mugalmaidan, the team of doctors including Dr Pandita Physician District Hospital Kishtwar, Dr. Abdul Latief BMO Chatroo, Dr. Syed Tajamul MO Chatroo, Dr. Mudassir MO Chatroo and other paramedical staff of PHC Chatroo did health examination of the inhabitants and provided consultation, counseling to the needy of all age groups including children, women and elders.
Free medicines of branded companies including Cipla, Cadilla, Wenz, Pfizer etc for the smooth functioning of these camps were also distributed to the patients, after their examination by the doctor.
People of Mugalmaidan areas expressed their gratitude towards Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad by providing such medical facilities at their door steps and have also thanked to Mr. G. M. Saroori.
Mr. Saroori also visited far off areas of Tehsil Sarthal and enquired about the development needs there. He also inspected the pace of Karool-Bahdat road constructed by PMGSY. On the request of people of Upper Bhagran, Saroori announced Rupees fifty thousand for the repairment of Nala Poora Chandali.
Prominent among those Mushtaq Hap, Tariq Wani, Mohd Rafi, Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Bidya Lal, Altaf Malik, Ali Mohd, Mohd Aslam Saroori, Ch. Ismaeil, Ch Israeil, Ch Kaloo, Ch. Misroo, Ch Bashir and large number of people from Mugalmaidan, Kuchal, Sigdi, Hurna Durbeel, Kwath, Rahal Thal, Dadpeth, Mian, Narwar, Bhagra, Angara, Poora Chandali were present on the occasion besides Sarpanches, Panches, Local Congress Leaders, workers, Youth Congress, SHO Ravi Kanth were also present.
