Azad, Saroori, Niaz, Wani greets people on the auspicious occasion of Ramazan

JAMMU, MAY 26: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha (MP), Ghulam Nabi Azad, Vice president JKPCC and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Executive Member JKPCC Mohammed Sharief Niaz, General Secretary JKPCC Abdul Majid Wani today greeted the Muslim community on the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

"Our greeting to the Muslim community as the holy month of Ramadan begins. May this Ramadan month brings peace and happiness in everyone's lives," Congress leaders said in a greeting message.

"May this holy month also enhance the spirit of harmony and togetherness in Jammu and Kashmir," Congress leaders from Chenab valley added. Ramadan is observed as a fasting period by Muslims, who abstain from food and water from sunrise to sunset.
