BJP government allowing "gundas" (Criminals) to take the law in their hands

SRINAGAR, JUNE 30: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori in a statement expressed grave concern “over the cold-blooded murders on the name of gau rakshak (cow protection) in the country.

"Any such nature of incidents of killing innocent people is condemnable. It is brutal, atrocious. It will not be acceptable at all," said Saroori and demanded that people who are responsible for the same should be hanged publicly, so that it will be lesson for others not to kill innocent civilians.

Stressing that what happened in the cases of "Gau Raksha" was "totally wrong", the BJP government is allowing few "gundas" (Criminals) to take the law in their hands and killing in innocent people's on the name of gau rakshak (Cow Protection)." He also expressed sympathies with the parents and the families of the victims.

It is to mention here that Junaid (17) was stabbed to death while his brothers - Hashim and Sakir - were injured by a mob which allegedly hurled slurs against them on-board the Delhi-Mathura passenger train between Ballabgarh and Mathura stations last week.

In another two incidents at Ramnagar area of BJP led Jharkhand a group of people stopped Alimuddin alias Asgar Ansari near Bajartand village and attacked him and his van was set on fire too. A man of Beria Hatiatand village in Jharkhand's Giridih district was thrashed and a part of his house was set ablaze by a mob after a dead cow was reportedly found outside his house on Tuesday.

In Rajasthan few people who dragged Pehlu Khan out of his vehicle on the Alwar highway, flung him on the roadside and lynched him so brutally that he died four days later. Pehlu Khan, a trader from Haryana, pleaded with his assaulters that the cattle he was transporting was with legal documentation and had been purchased at a fair in Jaipur.
