G. M Saroori express grief over Maruti car accident on Batote Kishtwar national highway



Two persons died in a tragic accident

KISHTWAR, JULY 05: - Vice President JKPCC and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today expressed grief over loss of lives in the Maruti car accident near Jathi on Batote-Kishtwar national highway yesterday late night.

In a message, Saroori said, 'I am deeply grieved and shocked at the tragic loss of life resulting from the accident.

'I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and pray to the Almighty to give them strength and fortitude to withstand this immense loss," Mr. Saroori added.

It is to mention here that a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02V-1227 was on its way from Jammu to Gandoh. When it reached near Jathi on Batote-Kishtwar national highway, the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve due to which it plunged into a deep gorge.

Two persons travelling in it died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Suhail, son of Ghulam Rasool Rather and Anayat Hussain both residents of Changa. The bodies were shifted to the mortuary of Primary Health Center (PHC) Assar.
