Congress condoles demise of father of Noor Mohd Butt


Ghulam Nabi Azad and others leaders expresses condolences with the bereaved family

JAMMU, JULY 08: - Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha (MP), Ghulam Nabi Azad has condoled the demise of Abdul Rashid Butt, the father of party leader from Phagsoo Thathri who breathed his last night at his native place after brief illness.

He was a generous and pious man who always stood with his son and relatives, for betterment of the people and remained an inspiration particularly for Phagsoo Thathri area.

Expressing heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, particularly to Butt family, Mr. Azad said the deceased was a noble and pious man and will be remembered for his social and noble service. He also prayed for everlasting peace to the departed soul.

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice President and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has also condoled the demise of Abdul Rashid Butt, father of Congress Ex-Sarpanch Noor Mohd and father in law of Abdul Rehman Kashmiri.

Expressing heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, Mr. Saroori said the deceased was an inspiring personality who will always be remembered for his contributions for public good.

Saroori said the demise of Abdul Rashid Butt is a great loss for the Phagsoo Thathri and in his death we have lost one of the inspiring personality who and his family has always worked for the downtrodden. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and grant of strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, the other party include Former Ministers Mohammed Sharief Niaz, Abdul Majid Wani, MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta, local leaders Mohd Iqbal Teli, Asgar Khangi, Mansoor Ahmed, Sarfraz Khan, Romesh Kumar, Abdul Razzak, Noor Din, Rafique Teli, Mushtaq Ahmed, Abid Hussain, Mohammad Latief Mughal, Waseem Ahmed, Abdul Kareem, Noor Maey, Bilal Ahmed and others have expressed solidarity with the family and share grief and sense of loss in the demise of noble soul. The leaders offered prayers for her everlasting peace.
